SUB-SURFACE INSTALLATION SYSTEM

The Surface sits on top of the joists. This allows your Roof to have a continuous structural surface over the Roof joists. There are different materials that can be used for the Roofing Surfaces. These are wood planks, plywood, and or OSB (Oriented Strand Board).  Although using a subfloor adhesive (or subfloor glue) is not required by code, it is a standard practice that can help prevent Roofing squeaks by reducing the chance of movement at the panel-to-joist connection.
