Am-cats Drywall and Durock Delivery cost $300.00 and minimum manual delivery pre-room and the floor of $1.50 per 1/2-inch sheet & 2.25 per 5/8-inch sheet.

Team drywall will place each sheet of drywall in the dedicated area of the project. Am-cat will charge $2.00 per 1/2 sheet on the 2nd floor $3.00 on the 3rd and $4.00 on 4^th-floor Units / Levels, and pricing for 5/8 sheets are additional 0.75 cents where the Drywall Boom/Scatter program is not offered in allowing vendor delivery of drywall throw opened windows and patios on the location, and crib side is only available on Jobsite.

Delivery should never be scheduled when there’s a chance of rain, or even when the outdoor humidity is too high. Chicago Drywall Contractors is patient and vigilant when it comes to delivering drywall when the weather is just right so that it’s in perfect condition when you are ready to use it!

We have an extensive fleet of trucks to make your delivery quick and easy. We also offer walk-up, walk-down, or hand-up service for a small additional charge.

Drywall (laid flat) should not exceed approximately 9” in height (for example 18 sheets of 1/2” drywall or 14 sheets of 5/8” drywall). A conventional 1/2-inch sheet of drywall measuring 4 feet by 8 feet weighs just over 51 pounds. At around 39 pounds, a sheet of 1/2-inch thick ultralight drywall weighs 12 pounds less than a standard 1/2-inch-thick drywall sheet. drywall thickness weighs about 60 pounds. The new lightweight drywall weighs about 41 pounds. A drywall hanger can hang an average of 60 4×8 sheets a day. 5/8-inch-thick drywall is the best drywall thickness for ceilings. Although you can use any type of drywall for ceilings as long as it’s installed correctly (even ultralight 1/4-inch-thick drywall), a thicker panel is best. 5/8-inch-thick drywall is the sturdiest which prevents sagging between ceiling joists.
